Since adopting the first student honor code in New Orleans, McGehee's Honor Code has permeated every facet of the McGehee experience. Described as their ‘moral compass,’ it is instilled early on in the life of each student.
Students admitted to this program pursue an individualized field of study in which they have a deep and passionate scholarly interest.

Founded in 1912 and located on a one-of-a-kind campus in the Garden District of New Orleans, McGehee is a private, independent, all-girls pre-K, kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school.
