Kathryn entered McGehee in the sixth grade. During her time there she was Junior Class President, captain of the basketball team, editor of Melangé, and a member of the Mock Trial team. After graduating in 2015, she earned her undergraduate degree from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California where she studied American Studies and Political Science and was the President of the Social Entrepreneurial Students' Association. Upon graduation, she became a strategist at a creative agency in San Francisco working for nonprofits, start-ups, and Fortune 500s. She now resides in New York City and works in marketing at Cint, a technology company in the insights industry. She is also an active volunteer for organizations like The Changemaker Project.

All of my classmates knew me too well to think of me as one-dimensional, and I think that helped me become more confident to pursue different interests. To this day I resist pigeon-holing others because of the experiences I had watching my classmates grow in unexpected ways."
