Conley Wilson

Conley Wilson remarked that she is a proud member of the 16 year club, having started her years at McGehee at Little Gate. In addition to being Senior Class President, Conley had the honor this year of being named a Citizenship Girl, one of the highest honors bestowed upon McGehee students. And, on May 12th, Conley was crowned May Day Queen, elected by the entire Upper School student body based on characteristics of kindness and school spirit. The May Day court represents the finest qualities of a “McGehee Girl.” Congratulations Conley!

Conley has been inspired by numerous teachers at McGehee and pays tribute to several faculty members. She credits Ms. Thompson for “pushing her in history class and for her kind and bubbly presence, especially during COVID.” Even though Conley was only her advisee for one year, she thanked Dr. Cresson for their fun advisories as well as for making chemistry so interesting and exciting. She shared, “Coach Val has been a great role model to me and someone who I really look up to. She is so welcoming and supportive, and always encourages me to be the best student and person.”

Conley’s favorite McGehee tradition is definitely graduation and she is excited to graduate in pink! She wrote, “I love how personal and special McGehee's graduation ceremonies are for each class.Also, I am really thankful for all of the amazing relationships I have built at McGehee with friends and teachers as well as so many fun memories!”
