Cecilia Grosch

College Major: Business

Cecilia joined the Class of 2023 for her sophomore year and wrote, “Even though I came to McGehee in 10th grade I felt welcomed the second I walked into McGehee!” She commented, “McGehee has prepared me to stay on top of my work and to not wait till the last minute to complete assignments.”

This year Cecilia serves as an Assistant Editor for the yearbook and has enjoyed being one of the photographers for The Spectator, as well as the work that goes into creating this student driven publication. She played club and varsity soccer for several years and also was a member of the Track & Field team during her time at McGehee.

Ms. Thompson gets kudos from Cecilia. “She is my advisor and teacher and she always has a smile on her face.” And, as for her favorite McGehee tradition, it’s the annual Father Daughter and Special Guest luncheon.

Cecilia Grosch has been accepted to Ole Miss and ULL and plans to attend the University of Louisiana, Lafayette in the fall.
