Track & Field Regional Championship

Congratulations to our Track & Field Hawks who competed in the Region III-2A Championship on Wednesday. The team placed 3rd overall with many athletes moving on to the State Championship in Baton Rouge next Friday, May 6.

4 x 800 team placed 2nd-Anna Schmidt, Ellie Schmidt, Markie Batten, Amelia Pullen;
4 x 400 team placed 3rd-Anna Accousti, Ava Zander, Holly Layman, Sophie Shaw;
3200 meters-Anna Schmidt placed 2nd;
100 m hurdles-Sarah Blessey placed 1st as the regional champion;
300 m hurdles-Sarah Blessey placed 3rd and set a new school record with her time!
