Game and Team Highlights

The McGehee Varsity Cross Country team placed 8th overall in the Ochsner Health LHSAA Division 4 State Championship on Saturday. The conditions were cold and rainy which provided our team the perfect opportunity to demonstrate their toughness and teamwork. Adler Rosenthal '27 led the team with a time of 21:26. She was followed closely by her teammates Anna Accousti '25, Mary Claire Leckert '28, Grace Olinger '26, Anna Schmidt '24, Julia Mahfouz '26, and Dylan Zweben '27. They were supported by alternate runners Cara Massengale, Josie Leyens, and Gigi Cusimano as well as managers and teammates Scarlett Fox, Rae French, Estelle LeGardeur, and Stella Lowenstein. Many thanks to our parents and supporters who traveled to Natchitoches and braved the weather to cheer on the team and throughout the season.
