Game and Team Highlights

The Varsity Swimming team finished in 5th place out of 19 schools at the LHSAA Division IV State Swimming Championships in Sulphur, LA.  The meet was highlighted by Abbie Spera '23 and Isabella Royster '26, who finished as State Runners-up in the 200 Individual Medley and the 100 Breaststroke, respectively. Isabella broke the school's record in the 100 Breaststroke and the 100 Backstroke by placing 5th in that event. Abbie was also 5th in the 100 Butterfly.

Our 200 Medley Relay team consisting of Abbie, Isabella, Allie Ware '28, and Vivi Pullen '25, finished 4th with a time of 2:09.13, and our 200 Free Relay team of Abbie, Isabella, Vivi, and Mary Ruth Gardner '26 also finished 4th with a time of 1:53.59. Allie finished 7th in the 200 Individual Medley and 11th in the 100 Butterfly. In the 100 Breaststroke Vivi finished in 11th place and Tess Edwards '25 finished in 13th.
