State Cross Country Meet in Natchitoches

Our Varsity Cross Country team finished in 5th place out of 20 teams at the LHSAA Division IV State Cross Country Meet in Natchitoches on November 13. Our Hawks were led by Mary Claire Leckert '28 who finished 11th overall with a time of 20:05. She was followed by Anna Accousti '25 (41st), Adler Rosenthal '27 (46th), Julia Mahfouz '26 (54th), Dylan Zweben '27 (57th), Grace Olinger '26 (64th) and Cara Massengale '26 (72nd). Virginia Lovell '28 was consistently one of our top runners throughout the season, but did not run due to illness. Rounding out our roster were Seniors Anna Schmidt (Captain) and Scarlett Fox (Captain), and Juniors Rae French and Josie Leyens. Thank you to Coaches Kevin Watters and Elle Boyd.
