Senior Selected for Soccer All Star Game

Taylor Bienvenu ’21 has been selected as 1 of 24 seniors across the state to represent the East at this year's Louisiana State All-Star Soccer Game on February 27. All of her hard work has paid off! Taylor has been playing soccer since she was about 5 years old, starting with club soccer and beginning school soccer in the 5th grade. While she is also a competitive cross country runner, Taylor said, “I love cross country and soccer, but I have always enjoyed soccer a lot because of the team dynamic and being able to work closely together.”

Founded in 1912 and located on a one-of-a-kind campus in the Garden District of New Orleans, McGehee is a private, independent, all-girls pre-K, kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school. Educating and inspiring students from communities across the area from Metairie to the Westbank, Gentilly to Uptown, River Ridge and beyond, McGehee is a diverse and inclusive prep school welcoming all qualified girls regardless of race, religion, national or ethnic origin.
