Sewanee freshman Lucy Currence is making a name for herself in soccer!
College Freshman Lucy Currence ‘17 made the soccer roster at Sewanee, coming on as a sub and playing in every game so far this season! In a game last week, Lucy came on and played for 60 minutes. Her performance in this game impressed her coach so much so that when Sewanee faced Covenant Wednesday, Lucy started and played most of the game, with the Tigers winning 2-1. McGehee Soccer Coach, Lynn Bradley said, “This is HUGE for her! I am so proud of her and all the hard work she put in throughout the summer especially to get herself ready for pre-season! Congratulations Lucy!!
