Leading Women Speaker Series

Welcomed Dr. Nicole Caridad Ralston
As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, our Diversity Club virtually kicked off McGehee’s Leading Women Speaker series with our first speaker of the year, Dr. Nicole Caridad Ralston. She is the Director of Education and Programming at Beloved Community where she develops and facilitates core content on diversity, equity, and inclusion for a wide variety of audiences. Dr. Ralston is devoted to creating communities that center and uplift the most marginalized populations and helps organizations work through sustainable solutions for DEI.
Dr. Ralston spoke on October 9th to Upper School students about her background, career timeline and why she chose a career in diversity education. Following the Q & A session, she wrapped up her remarks with a reminder she tells herself each morning. “You are enough and don’t let anyone make you feel otherwise.” Words of wisdom for our McGehee girls.
