Our swim team is working hard!
The Hawks have continued to race into victory this season in the pool and have showcased a very impressive list of state qualifying times. On October 7, McGehee had another swim meet against four other schools hosted by De La Salle and the girls swam very well. Highlights include:

Many girls placed in the top three in their events. 
Our 200 medley relay team composed of Amelia Pullen ‘22, Abbie Spera ‘23, Peyton McQueen ‘21, and Cameron Metzinger ‘21 won 1st place. 

Our 200 free relay team composed of Abbie Spera ‘23, Vivi Pullen ‘25, Elizabeth Drennan ‘21, and Sarah Fitzpatrick ‘21 won 1st place. 

Our 400 free relay team composed of Peyton McQueen ‘21, Amelia Pullen ‘22, Cameron Metzinger ‘21, and Isabella Royster ‘26 won 2nd place. 

Isabella Royster ‘26 placed first in the 100 breaststroke.
Peyton McQueen ‘21 placed first in the 100 fly. 

Amelia Pullen ‘22 won 2nd place in the 100 free.
Isabella Royster ‘26 won 2nd place in the 200 free.

Sarah Fitzpatrick ‘21 won 3rd place in the 100 breaststroke.

Our team has also already made many state qualifying times this season.
