Kindness Beyond The Gates

In Honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Students in Pre-K-12th Grade honored the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a special assembly. The school wide assembly included facts, music, and activities inspired by the work of Dr. King. The girls wore their Spirit Day team colors and remembered not only his life and sacrifices, but also the ideals he believed in and the call for service he so encouraged. McGehee community service representatives spoke of dreaming of a better tomorrow. To honor MLK and his teachings we are challenging our students to perform acts of kindness for people outside of our school gates.
