French Oratory Contest

Five McGehee girls placed.
Nine McGehee Upper School students recently competed in the French Oratory Contest and gave outstanding performances! The girls had to recite in French a memorized poem or passage before a panel of native speakers. Five McGehee girls placed in a very competitive field with students from high schools across the city. The girls will be awarded cash prizes and recognized at a ceremony on December 15 at the Degas House.
Congratulations to all!
