8th Graders Experience Leadership and Service in Tennessee

8th Graders had a great trip!
The Class of 2023 spent the last several days in Monteagle, Tennessee working on and building their leadership skills. From the moment the bus left campus until their return, each girl had the opportunity to serve as a trip manager and play a part in leading the group in some fashion. Accompanied by Carlotta Pelikan, Liz Warner and Callie Taylor, they engaged in games and activities that encouraged and pushed them beyond their norm. The girls showed their grit and determination rappelling and completing a low ropes course at Mountain Top. In addition to a visit to Coalmont Elementary, the girls enjoyed an official tour of The University of the South in Sewanee.
