Assembly Honoring Martin Luther King, Jr.

Girls honored The Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. with a schoolwide assembly.
Students from PK-12 honored the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a special assembly Tuesday. Martin Luther King famously stated, “If I cannot do great things, I can do small things in a great way.” We heard from several Second Graders and a Kindergarten student about small acts of kindness they plan to do here at McGehee. The girls divided into small groups, shared ideas and then created a Kindness Chain symbolic of coming together to do great things.
