Sirina King

College Choice: Wake Forest University

Graduating with a Distinction in Science
Mentorship Title: "Social Media: How Tech Companies are Creating a Powerful New Addiction"

If the Class of 2020 wants something done and wants it to be well organized, Sirina King is their “go to girl”. A member of the Mock Trial team for a number of years, this year Sirina took on the role of team manager where her organizational skills definitely paid off. She was also manager of the Cross Country team, attending all their meets and assisting. As Sophomore Class President, Sirina embraced this leadership role with ease as well as her work on the Executive Committee. She credits McGehee with “encouraging her to be independent and a self-advocate which will benefit me throughout my life.” Her favorite tradition is Nativity, the Senior Pageant. She said, “I have always loved watching Nativity and I really enjoyed being a part of it this year and putting it on with my class.” Sirina will attend Wake Forest University this fall.
