Graduating with a Distinction in Drama
Mentorship Title: "A One Woman Show: The Art of Theatre."

Marin’s recently completed senior mentorship, A One Woman Show: The Art of Theatre is telling of her passion for the arts. Not only has she been active in McGehee’s performing arts but she has been a leader at Brother Martin High School as well, serving as their stage manager and technical director in several productions. Marin is very involved in clubs at McGehee where she has “found her voice because of McGehee’s empowering opportunities to become independent.” She is also very active in her church’s Catholic Youth Ministry organization and quite a golfer, a two-time Louisiana state qualifier. Marin has this to say about McGehee’s faculty. “There have been amazing teachers over the years, but Dr. King has especially inspired me every year of my time at McGehee. She’s special to me because she inspired me to go out of my comfort zone every year in music.”
