Lucy Carradine

College Choice: George Washington University
Major: International Affairs

Graduating with a Distinction in History
Mentorship Title: "Chick Flicks: Fantasy or Nightmare?"

Despite being the youngest member of McGehee’s Class of 2020, Lucy Carradine found her voice early on, always an eager participant in class and group discussions. She commented, “McGehee has taught me to always be determined and to not allow obstacles to stop me from trying to achieve what I want. It has also taught me the importance of finding a community of people that support you. I feel so lucky to have been surrounded by such amazing, encouraging classmates, students from other grades, and teachers during my time at McGehee.” Lucy did her Senior Mentorship on Chick Flicks: Fantasy or Nightmare? and she's looking forward to attending George Washington University in the fall.
