Emily Johnson

College Choice: The University of the South (Sewanee)
Major: Psychology

On the very night Emily chaired a service event, Lights on the Lawn for Relay for Life, she received word that she had been admitted Early Decision to The University of the South (Sewanee), definitely an evening to remember. When asked about favorite traditions, Emily said it would have to be Spirit Week and ultimately Spirit Day -- “the experience of Spirit Day as a senior is one I will not soon forget. It was so much fun to be with my classmates getting ready together and everyone was just so thrilled the day had finally come where we got to lead our teams.” Emily is a passionate community service volunteer and most recently won the Jane Pharr Gage ’55 Community Service Award at school.
