Louise S. McGehee School offers After Care for girls in Pre-Kindergarten through 7th grade. And, we currently offer supervision for girls in grades 8-12. Our hours of operation are from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and on Wednesdays from 2:20 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.. Any student (12th grade and below) on campus following dismissal must sign into our After Care program.
Students in Kindergarten through 7th grade remain in their class groups to do homework, play outdoors and take part in games and other fun activities.
We hope to offer Enrichment classes later this year that includes a wide range of extra-curriculars, such as Yoga, Gymnastics, Piano and String classes, Reading Magic, Wacky Science and McGehee teacher supervised homework help centers. All enrichment classes will be available for additional fees.
Snacks are provided for all after care participants and the program provides our working parents the opportunity for extended care as well as enrichment options for their daughter(s) in a well-structured, nurturing and safe environment.
